So many lovely memories of Derek, when I was at uni he would always ask how it was going, and give me studying tips (sometimes just to make sure I actually did! 😜). We had many fun times round at glenhaven having BBQs and celebrating events, john and Ros’s wedding, Jen’s birthdays and various events. Once I fell into the pond messing around, Derek helped me out (and told me off a little bit) and for many years would tease me about it afterwards! Fun times, a lovely kind man who I have lots of lovely memories of. You are now at peace. Xxx

Derek was a lovely cheerful man, and thinking back over our lives I remember the good times that we had and the lovely holidays we shared. I remember you and Ron making a rice pudding and you decided to add water to make it go further, Bob's and I couldn't stop laughing. Will miss you loads, at Peace now. Love Ann
